I am a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Minnesota. In January 2012, I will be joining the faculty of the Goizueta Business School at Emory University as an Assistant Professor of Organization and Management. My research interests include comparative political sociology, globalization and development, philanthropy and non-profits, organizations, and environmental sociology. I have also served as the Graduate Editor for Contexts, a quarterly magazine of the American Sociological Association. You can occasionally find me writing at the world polity research blog.
